COVID-19 Health & Safety Policies

Brightside wants our members and their clients to stay healthy and safe as we combat the COVID-19 Health Crisis. Because we provide space for behavior health and mental health services, as well as for non-medical coaching services, we have evaluated Oregon Health Authority (OHA) guidelines for Personal Care Services and Behavioral Health Services in developing policies to help keep our members and their clients safe.

For now, most services can and should be delivered through online video conferencing services. We're equipped with comfortable office chairs, sit/stand electronic lift desks, high-speed internet, and large screen monitors for telehealth/online coaching services!

Sometimes in-person care in a safe setting is the best choice, and we have policies to help manage risks of in-person services.

Procedures will include the following:

  • Pre-visit health-screening calls.

  • Waiting for appointments in car instead of lobby.

  • No-contact temperature check, hand washing, and face mask required.

  • HIPAA-Compliant encounter logging for contact tracing support.

  • Pre-/post- visit high-contact sanitation procedures.

Brightside will provide sanitation services, sanitation supplies, and required PPE to conform with our policies for members and their clients.

Changes to Physical Environment

Brightside Co-working's physical space has been re-configured to reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure for members and their clients. 

  • All offices have been organized with six feet of distance between member and client seating.

  • All non-essential furnishings have been removed to storage to simplify sanitation.

  • All offices have in-room HEPA filtration air purifiers.

  • Brightside conference room reservations are temporarily closed.

  • Rooms are equipped for telehealth/online coaching support!
