Brightside plans to reopen after Multnomah County Phase 1 reopen plan is approved and when we are able to conform with health and safety guidance for Personal Care Businesses.

COVID-19 Health & Safety Policies

To minimize risk of exposure to COVID-19 for members and their clients, Brightside members are required to understand and follow Brightside's policies and procedures aligned with Phase 1 health and safety guidelines for Personal Care Services as published by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA).

Procedures will include the following:

  • Pre-visit health-screening calls.

  • Waiting for appointments in car instead of lobby.

  • No-contact temperature check, hand washing, and face mask required.

  • HIPAA-Compliant encounter logging for contact tracing support.

  • Pre-/post- visit high-contact sanitation procedures.

Brightside will provide daily sanitation services, sanitation supplies, and required PPE to conform with our policies for members and their clients.

COVID-19 Membership Plans changed

Due to increase exposure risk associated with all of Brightside's Ultimate Flex plans, those plans will all be temporarily suspended until a COVID-19 vaccine is available and it is safe to return to our normal operating procedures. To the maximum degree possible, Brightside Space will structure member schedules to ensure that each member consistently uses the same office and so that offices are not occupied by more than one member per day. Consequently, Brightside's Dedicated Day plan is the only member option available.

Changes to Physical Enviornment

Brightside Co-working's physical space has been re-configured to reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure for members and their clients.

  • All offices have been organized with six feet of distance between member and client seating.

  • All non-essential furnishings have been removed to storage to simplify sanitation.

  • All offices have in-room HEPA filtration air purifiers.

  • Brightside conference room reservations are temporarily closed.

COVID-19 Surcharge

Due to increase material and sanitation costs, Brightside Co-working has established a COVID-19 surchange. This surcharge will cover the following expenses:

  • Supply of surgical masks and latex gloves for members and their clients.

  •  Anti-microbial sanitation supplies.

  • Daily office cleaning.

  • No contact thermometers for health screening.

  • No-contact hand sanitizer station in lobby.
