Experience the benefits of mindfulness meditation. A regular mindfulness practice has been shown to support self awareness, life satisfaction, improve mood, decrease suffering, and lead to a sense of ease.
Since May's group falls on Star Wars Day, let's have a little fun! Meditation can often be portrayed as serious and inaccessible. But I like to invite play into mindfulness practice because it helps us integrate it into our lives. Enjoy a mindfulness practice with well-known Star Wars-isms woven in. This movie much wisdom does have. ;-)
In addition, you will leave this meditation with a sense of joy and ease and practices that you can continue on your own. There will be some minimal discussion on the topic of mindfulness. The remainder of our session will be focused on utilizing mindfulness through meditative practice.
Comfortable clothing suggested. Water and tea available. Arrival 10-15 minutes prior is suggested.
