Service Description
On October 1, 2025 CareOregon will stop covering behavioral health services delivered by out-of-network providers. This development means that therapists in private practice in Oregon will see a significant decline in their OHP client base. In light of this change, we’ve created a new workshop for therapists whose practice has been mostly dependent on OHP clients. This course will help you pivot to a strategy to build a client base that is willing to pay out-of-pocket or is paneled on non-OHP insurance providers (or a combination thereof). To lay a foundation for maintaining (or building) a flourishing therapy practice, you’ll develop a plan to attract clients organically. This proactive approach will empower you to be less dependent on the uncertainties of health insurance coverage (while also learning to gain acceptance on insurance panels). At the end of this course, you will walk away with more confidence in your ability to grow a thriving full-time practice and forge a connection with a network of trust advisors for life. In this course, you will: - Identify your target niche and build a winning profile on Portland Therapy Center to attract the clients with whom you do your best work. - Connect with other counselors who will offer support and accountability. - Create a marketing plan to secure a successful financial future. - Building systems to make your practice management easier, more profitable, and a better experience for the clients you are committed to helping. BONUS: Class participants get 3 hours of out-of-session consulting services to apply toward insurance paneling or practice development plans. Additional consulting hours are available for purchase. Cancellation Policy
Participants must pay in advance to secure their course enrollment. Cancellations are supported up to 72-hours before the start of the first class with a $100 fee applied to cover expenses for course materials and assessments. Early withdraws are accepted up to the start of the second session with a 50% refund. No refunds are accepted thereafter. Courses with less than 50% of maximum enrollment may be cancelled at Brightside Coworking's discretion with a full refund.
